This book aims to teach conflict management through the art of dialogue. By understanding the power of language, each individual can make or break the outcome of the conversation and eventually of the interaction. Healthy language and healthy behaviors can be seen as “superpowers” in this day and age where conflict and aggression are everywhere and between everyone, and it seems this madness is increasing daily. With the increase of conflict between anyone and everywhere, the mental-physical well-being of any single individual, especially the new generation, is affected in a negative way.

Mediation Board Game  2015

Published and Copyright USPTO

Registration Number VA- 999-772

The game is divided into the following two parts:

  • Part 1: During the first part the players will play solo (as mediator). The player has 7 rounds to travel around the board, using strategies to reach the final location. The final location is determined at the start of the game by randomly selecting one of the city cards. While traveling around the board the player’s objective is to gain as many coins as possible by answering the (Green, Orange or Purple) questions. The player must answer the question on the card corresponding to the color of the city the player lands on after rolling the dice.
  • Part 2: The second part of the game is a full negotiation session between two teams (odd/even teams). To team up, each player randomly selects a card from the deck of 8 cards (numbered 1 to 8). The players with a card with an even number are part of the same team while the players with a card with an odd number are part of the opposing team. The game ends when the teams have a win/win solution according to the negotiation information.
