Monya Kian, M.A. –
Bridge Mediation LLC Associate US Team

Ms. Monya Kian received her Master’s Degree in Peace and Justice Studies from the University of San Diego, where she focused on international conflict resolution and mediation.  Monya holds a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in International Studies from the University of Washington and a Minor in Human Rights.  She also studied at the Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po) in Paris, France. 

Monya was trained as a professional mediator by completing the internship program at Bridge Mediation LLC in San Diego, California.  Monya has been with Bridge Mediation LLC since February 2007, and has collaborated on a number of projects, including the writing of articles, the development of a negotiation program for police officers, and the expansion of new and current business ventures at Bridge Mediation LLC.

Monya has lived, worked, and studied in seven cities around the world and appreciates the importance and influence of culture in international business.  She is also a board member of the United Nations Association, San Diego Chapter.  She speaks English, French, Farsi, and some basic Spanish.
